Pam Salzmann, MD

From a young age, I used to beg my father, a veterinarian, to take me on farm calls or watch him do surgery.  Through this experience, I was being pulled into the wonders of medicine. Later on, in high school, I worked summer camp jobs exploding with children of all ages and functional capacities. Growing up, I was also blessed to have two parents who modeled a rich Catholic faith and ingrained in me the importance of using my God-given talents. Without hesitation, I pursued the path to becoming a pediatrician.  Thirty-one years later, the actual practice of medicine has gone through a host of growing pains. However, it is with an unwavering belief that I continue to strive to see the dignity of each person I encounter, healing and meeting not just their physical needs but their spiritual needs as well. Families need to be heard and to be accompanied in their overall well-being.  Raising my own four children, diverse in personalities and potential, has opened my eyes and heart to this unspeakable dimension, all God's creation as a family. It is with renewed hope and faith in medicine that I have been afforded a divine providence to join the Restore family, and I look forward to extending exceptional care to yours.
