Dr. Angela Kristan is a board-certified family medicine physician with specialized training in geriatric medicine and restorative reproductive health. She completed her residency in family medicine and a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, she earned a master’s degree in theological studies from the John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family.

Recognizing significant gaps in women’s health education during her medical training, Dr. Kristan took the initiative to design her own fertility awareness elective during residency. This included specialized training in NaProTechnology at the St. Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE. She has since pursued further expertise in restorative reproductive medicine through FEMM (Fertility Education and Medical Management), deepening her commitment to providing women with comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare options.

In 2020, Dr. Kristan founded Gianna Medical of Central and Western NY, a practice dedicated to women’s gynecologic health and restorative reproductive medicine. Building on this mission, she will expand her work in January 2025 with the launch of Restore Health and Wellness—a center devoted to holistic healing and restoration for individuals and families. The new center will be located at 1880 East Ridge Road in Rochester, NY.
